Rui is an entrepreneur with an atypical journey! In 2011 Rui graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies. Following on from his education, Rui laboured diligently as a salesperson with different roles for three years accruing valuable experiences. He discovered entrepreneurship in 2014 at 23 years old when he joined his brother’s startup business called Greenlux Car, an electric car rental company in Paris. Using his experience and expertise Rui jumped straight into operations, customer services and sales. After the development of the startup in the USA which was a great experience, Rui decided to leave the adventure with his brother and start his own solo entrepreneurial story. In 2018 he launched a private concierge company specialising in eco-friendly services in Paris. He also started a non-profit organization to inspire, advise and support young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in Paris. Lover of Africa and passionate about entrepreneurship, he did not stop there and wanted to take his electric mobility experience to the African continent. This initiative aims to develop clean mobility, train and create jobs for African youth and especially to boost the sub-region through industrialization.
